eXXec provides a safe, personal and engaging leadership development experience for 18-20 influential leaders, providing the opportunity to form a peer support network during and after the event. To obtain the most out of the program, attendees are encouraged to engage with the learning process, including multiple pre and post-event learning opportunities, all focused around the three leadership pillars.

AP LogoThe in-person event begins on Monday, June 24, 2024, with the Welcome Reception at 6 pm CST, followed by three days of learning with leading subject matter experts.

eXXec offers 1.7 CEUs/17 PDH for those who complete the program.

Target attendee: Priority acceptance is given to those mid-career professionals with an engineering or technology academic degree and at least 10-15 years of professional experience.

Dr. Kim Warren-Martin (she/her/hers), eXXec Facilitator

Dr. Kim Warren-Martin is an award-winning executive with a solid reputation in corporate diversity and inclusion. During the last 8 years of her 27-year corporate career, Dr. Kim Warren-Martin ran a Global Women's Initiative helping women get to the top of a Fortune 50 technology company. She held the belief that you can #HaveItAll as long as you’re the one who defines what “IT ALL” means to you. So Dr. Warren-Martin decided to protire and bring this concept to life. Since then, she has dedicated her time and business to researching, studying, creating and designing methodologies and strategies to help high-achieving professional women pinpoint, and make, the hidden unique mark they want to make in the world.

Kathryn Mayer (she/her/hers) 

An essential component of leadership development is identifying our strengths and opportunities for improvement. eXXec participants will take the FIRO-B (Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation – Behavior) assessment. The FIRO-B facilitates greater self-awareness by expanding interpersonal orientation congruent with one’s personality type and leadership situation. The FIRO-B provides an ability to understand behaviors, possible motives, and areas where additional coaching is needed.

Kathryn MayerKathryn Mayer brings over twenty-five years of expertise in leadership development, conducting workshops, and coaching executives, focusing on empowering women in competitive industries. Drawing from her background as a former top-ranked amateur tennis player and extensive experience driving change and nurturing talent in demanding corporate environments—including roles at Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, and Citigroup’s investment bank—she offers a unique perspective on leadership. Kathryn is the author of two books:  Collaborative Competition™: A Woman’s Guide to Succeeding by Competing; How to Stay SANE and Successful in the COVID World: Thrive, Flourish, and Prosper Even When All the Rules Have Changed. Her third book, The Productive Perfectionist: A Woman’s Guide to Smashing the Shackles of Perfectionism, is set to be released in Spring 2024. She is certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) at the PCC level. She writes on a blog for all those perfectionists in recovery like herself who are striving for excellence and want to enjoy life more. With a corporate background in Human Resources and Organizational Development and an educational foundation in Psychology and Education, for more than 30 years, Gloria has worked with people and teams in organizations of all sizes (6 to more than 100K) located in national and global locations. Gloria writes and speaks about the importance and necessity of human beings connecting with themselves and others, building and using education and learning about people, processes, and practices to optimize performance and experiences in ways that lead to and celebrate individual and collective strategic success. Gloria’s bottom line is to help people create relationships, teams, departments, corporations, and brands where everyone can be and do their best, fully examining historic and current DEI successes and failures and then developing meaningful, impactful immediate, short-, medium- and long-term solutions.

Rose HollisterRose Hollister is a coach and consultant to Fortune 500 companies and has been published numerous times by the Harvard Business Review. She specializes in partnering with leaders to accelerate results, increase effectiveness, and meet emerging business challenges. Prior to founding Hollister Associates, Ms. Hollister was VP of Learning & Development for Equity Office and directed the Leadership Institute for McDonald’s. The Institute provided innovative development for the top 1,600 global leaders in over 100 countries. Ms. Hollister has master’s degrees in Education and Organization Design. She taught Strategic Change, Coaching, and Leadership at Northwestern University.
